VIMOTECH Virtual ATD Aerospace Library

 A new generation of Virtual ATDs for Aerospace Applications:

  • HIII 50th Percentile Hybrid III FAA vATD

The Virtual Aerospace ATD database has been developed using the building block approach:

  1. Material Characterization: Quasi-static and Strain Rate Effects.
  2. Detailed 3D Scan Data from physical ATDs.
  3. Discretization Process for a 1 micro-second time step.
  4. Proprietary non-deterministic component level validation process.
  5. System Level Validation: per SAE ARP 5765, FAA Report XXX, and Proprietary Aerospace Seat Datasets (Forward, Aft, Side Facing Configurations | 23.562 and 25.562)
